Books…books…books…

I have many book ideas swirling in my mind every day. .. All day. If I don’t start organizing them soon, I’ll ruin everything and miss out on the benefits! Shit, it’s only making me crazy keeping all these thoughts circulating in hopes of not forgetting them. So if you read this, please comment on which book you’d most like to see unfold.

#1. My Suicide Note: 07/10/2024. This book aims to share my life stories in order as they’ve happened. I believe my experiences are engaging enough for readers. I believe they will be capable of connecting with the main characters I’ve met throughout this journey. This will hopefully offer a venue for understanding me. To…step into the shoe, kinda-way. You will see my life from my perspective. This includes each first encounter I’ve had until the day the manuscript is finished. It will be written to the best of my memory, and will include my hopes and dreams of our future. I also want to include a thank you note for helping me live my life. This is especially for those who’ve forced me to! I want to add reasons of why everyone is important to me. Beginning with my children, and including my step-children, my ex’s, my girlfriends, and my family.

#2. #High Thoughts. This coffee-table style book will be *Cute*Bright*Light* with full-sized, best pictures of’ Coburn’s Corner Photography’. The pictures will be mostly grays, blacks and whites with ‘pops’ of color. Opposite each pictured page, a different sized piece of wisdom I’ve thought of while high, will be boldly displayed.

#3. 11:11. This book will be based on my learning and understandings during my mental-health-awareness journey. To the best of my ability, I’d like to document the stories of what I’ve learned through my own health-professionals. It will start out between a fictional character and her therapist. I will attempt to distinguish and connect the two, based on my own relationships with my therapeutic community. This will have a dual purpose. I’ll be able to share my experiences with the world. I can also revisit those jewels of wisdom to help advance my own mental-health.

#4. Coburn’s Corner. This would be a life-long tribute to my grandparents. Due to their selflessness and doings, I’d like to write a chronological-based book about their lives. It’ll be a romantic, love story filled with the beautiful stories and writings I’ve accumulated over the years. It will be loosely based along the time-line I’ve concocted during my own research.

#5. JimmieJoe. This would be a book loosely based on the unbelievable family stories of a friend of mine.Spending 20yrs in prison has given him unbelievable insight. From both his time in, and then, out of ‘the joint’. These stories are life-changing.

There are more… there will always be more. I can, however, only focus on ONE book at a time, and these are all worthy options. One day, I hope I can do this full time and finish them all 🙂

Dreamily,

Nix 🙂
